About me

I’m a product designer

–currently working at AT&T. My primary focus has been on DirecTV Now, an entertainment app available on mobile, web, and TV. I work closely with other designers, developers, researchers, and stakeholders to help define and document functionality updates, fix bugs, and improve the overall user experience.

Before working for AT&T I worked for HireAHelper, a marketplace that connects people who are moving (customers) with movers (or Helpers as we call them). My main focus at HireAHelper was on the 2nd group- the Helpers. I designed, maintained, and helped improve the Helper Accounts, our internally built software that allows Helpers to manage their jobs and crew. I also created and implemented the user research process, re-designed the blog, and helped on any other tasks I hoped I could be helpful.

Design tools I’m a pro in: Abstract, Adobe CC (Xd, Ai, Ps, etc), Figma, InVision, InVision Studio, Principle, Sketch, sketchbook, stick notes, Zeplin

Project management tools I’ve used a bunch: Asana, Basecamp, Confluence, GitHub, Jira, Slack, Trello

Tools I’m familiar with: Adobe Analytics, Balsamiq, Omnigraffle

Skills: Product Design, Design Thinking, User Research, UI Design, HTML5, CSS3, WordPress

Get in Touch: Truthfully, I’m not great at checking email. But I’ll get back to you as soon as I see it ^_^’ You can also find me on LinkedIn.

When I’m not designing you can find me: drinking tea, playing video games, rock climbing, reading or listening to a book, playing my ukulele, attempting to sew myself some Hogwarts robes, or on the beach
